![]() Since 2019, The Starbucks Foundation has received more than 65,000 nominations from Starbucks partners (employees) advocating for organizations in their communities, resulting in Neighborhood Grants totaling more than $10 million to 6,000 organizations across the U.S. Through this unique program, The Starbucks Foundation invited Starbucks partners (employees) to nominate a local organization in their community, leveraging insights from partners (employees) who know their neighborhoods best. Neighborhood Grants are investments that help build sustained local impact and inspire increased partner (employee) volunteerism with nonprofit organizations that serve our communities. The Starbucks Foundation reaches goal of supporting 250,000 women and girls in coffee, tea & cocoa growing communities The Starbucks Foundation Origin Grants make a difference in the lives of women, their families and their communities through programs that promote women’s leadership, create economic opportunities and expand access to clean water and sanitation (WASH) for women and girls across Africa, Asia and Latin America. On International Women’s Day 2022, The Starbucks Foundation set a goal to positively impact 1 million women and girls in coffee-, tea- and cocoa-growing communities by 2030. ![]() Since 2005, The Starbucks Foundation has invested more than $25 million in programs that strengthen coffee and tea-growing communities. Starbucks has a long history of working with coffee and tea origin communities to address their most critical needs such as access to water, sanitation, health and education. We strive to create a positive impact for people – from the first ten feet to the last ten feet of coffee – by supporting nonprofit organizations in partnership with Starbucks partners, licensee partners and others with a shared commitment and belief in stronger, more equitable communities.
